CVPA will use its Park & Trail Partnership Program Grant to work with a leading historic preservation architecture firm to outline next steps for restoration and sustainable reuse of The Point in Staatsburg, NY. The consultant, to be chosen from quotes submitted to PTNY with the grant application, will set priorities for updates and additions to studies and reports needed to plan restoration projects, then draft a phased capital plan for subsequent restoration projects.
For those who wish to follow our work, CVPA is developing a Project Notebook that will available for download on this site. Bookmark this page to watch project progress and sign up for our mailing list to receive progress alerts.
In addition to a team of architects, landscape designers and other professionals who will assist the consultant in developing a phased capital projects plan, we anticipate creating a volunteer workgroup to help with communications, public discussion and event production. Please let us know if you’d like to join the workgroup.
Thank you for your interest in CVPA’s Restoration & Sustainable Reuse Project!
